Ibadati privacy policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

Ibadati has no accounts, no ads, and no analytics. We do not collect your personal information on any server.

Location

The app asks for approximate (coarse) location to work out prayer times and the Qibla direction. Your location is used on your phone and is not sent to us or stored by us.

Data kept on your phone

Your settings, bookmarks, prayer tracker, and downloaded audio stay on your device. Uninstalling the app removes them.

Quran audio

When you stream or download recitations, your phone requests audio files from a third-party audio host (everyayah.com). That host can see your IP address like any website you visit. We do not control its privacy practices.

Notifications and alarms

Notification and exact-alarm permissions are used only to play adhan alerts at prayer times. Battery-optimization settings are used only to help those alerts arrive on time.

Children

Ibadati does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date above will change. Questions: privacy@ibadati.app.
